n8n Pricing Changed on 2026-09-28: Business Plan Pulled From Cloud Self-Serve, Who's Affected, Alternatives

n8n quietly removed its Business plan from Cloud self-serve checkout this week. The plan itself did not get more expensive — it got harder to buy.

Our observatory flagged a change on n8n's pricing page during the week of 2026-09-28. We re-checked the live page on 2026-09-28 to confirm it.

No digit on the price tag moved. What moved is who can buy the plan and how: self-hosting is now the only way to run n8n Business, and a managed, n8n-hosted version of it is waitlist-only.

Who's Affected

Two groups feel this:

• Teams on n8n Cloud Pro (€50/mo, 10,000 executions/mo) who planned to upgrade to Business for more executions, SSO/SAML/LDAP, or 30-day insights. That upgrade path inside Cloud no longer exists. The only way to get those Business-tier features today is to self-host.
• Prospects evaluating "n8n Cloud" who assumed Business-tier features would be available hosted. They now hit a waitlist with no published ETA.

Teams already self-hosting Business are unaffected — price and limits (€667/mo billed annually, 40,000 executions/mo) are unchanged.

What to Do

• Already self-hosting Business: no action needed, nothing changed for you.
• On Cloud Pro and need Business-tier limits or SSO now: you either take on self-hosting (your own infrastructure, updates, and backups on top of the €667/mo license) or contact n8n sales — the Enterprise tier still explicitly supports "Cloud or self-hosted."
• Want a managed Business-equivalent without waiting: join n8n's waitlist for Cloud Business, or evaluate a different vendor's managed plan below.
