Bolt's pricing page now shows lower headline prices for Pro and Teams — but the old monthly-billed prices are gone from the page entirely, replaced by annual-billing totals with a "Save up to 28%" banner.
What Changed
Our observatory flagged a change on Bolt's pricing page between its 2026-10-19 and 2026-10-26 weekly captures. We re-verified the live page on 2026-10-26 with a raw HTML fetch (bypassing an AI-summarized fetch that initially misread the billing-toggle footnote).
| Before (observatory crawl, captured 2026-10-19) | Now (verified 2026-10-26, bolt.new/pricing) | |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0/month, 1M tokens per month | $0/month, "Free forever, no card required," 1M tokens/month to try Bolt |
| Pro | $25 per month, billed monthly. "Start at 10M tokens per month," unused tokens roll over | $18/month*, billed annually. "Total of $216 $300/year" (28% off the $300/year sticker). 10M tokens/month, rollover included. Now marked "MOST POPULAR" |
| Team / Teams | $30 per month and per member, billed monthly | $27/month* per member, billed annually. "Total of $324 $360/year" (10% off the $360/year sticker). 10M tokens/member, rollover included |
| Enterprise | Hands-on onboarding & enterprise training; "Get advanced security, compliance, and 24/7 support... See a demo" | Custom annual contract, billed by consumption. "Enterprise-grade security and compliance certifications." Unlimited tokens priced by consumption |
The live page still shows a "Yearly / Monthly" billing toggle with a "Save up to 28%" label on the Yearly tab. The asterisk next to the $18 and $27 figures is a tax footnote ("*Plus applicable taxes"), not a billing-period note — the billing period is spelled out separately as "Billed annually" / "Per member, billed annually." The Monthly tab's price is rendered client-side and did not appear in our static HTML capture, so we cannot state Bolt's current monthly-billed price with certainty. [NON VÉRIFIÉ — omitted]
Who's Affected
- Existing Pro subscribers at the old $25/mo monthly rate. The pricing page no longer lists a monthly-billed price for Pro; the only figure shown is the $18/mo annual-billed rate ($216 charged once per year). Whether existing monthly subscribers were migrated, grandfathered, or must switch to annual is not stated on the page.
- Existing Teams subscribers at the old $30/mo/member rate. Same pattern: the posted price is now $27/mo/member billed annually ($324/member/year), a smaller 10% cut than Pro's 28%, and also annual-only on the page.
- New users who can commit to annual billing. Pro at $216/year is $84/year cheaper than the old $25/mo × 12 = $300/year monthly rate. Teams at $324/member/year is $36/member/year cheaper than $30/mo × 12 = $360/member/year.
- New users who want monthly billing. The toggle exists, but we could not verify a current monthly-billed figure on the live page in this run.
What to Do
- On Pro or Teams monthly billing today: check your Bolt account billing page directly — the public pricing page's monthly figure isn't verifiable from this capture, and no grandfathering policy is stated publicly.
- Evaluating Bolt now and comfortable paying annually: budget $216/year for Pro or $324/member/year for Teams — both are lower than the previous monthly-equivalent totals.
- Want to pay monthly: use the "Monthly" tab on bolt.new/pricing yourself and compare the figure shown against the $18–$27 annual rates before committing.
One general note: a pricing page that leads with a discounted annual figure and a struck-through "was" price is exactly the kind of landing-page pattern Clawnilab's Landing Page Clarity Audit scores for — whether the actual billing terms are as clear as the headline number. Worth applying the same read to any tool's pricing page before you commit annually.
